Interstate System

One of my biggest accomplishments was creating the Dwight D. Eisenhower National System of Interstate and Defence Highways. It is more commonly known is the Interstate system. The Interstate is 46,508 miles long. It is a system of road that go throughout the United States and pass through the states. It is called the Interstate because it connects all of the states together (inter-state). I was behind the creation of the Interstate, so it was named after me from my contributions.

The Interstate has made it possible to travel through all the states and caused a big increase in the car business and in the amount of road trips for vacations. This increased our economy and did a lot to help the United States. It has made travel easier and has made deliveries faster. The risk of accidents is also lower. The risk of fatality rate is 60% lower than the rest of the system. Another good part of the Interstate is it has caused travel to be faster and due to the higher speeds on the roads. Overall, the Interstate has helped the United States a lot, and was a huge highlight of my presidency.
